Slow Cooked Beef: A tender and flavorful beef dish, slow-cooked with aromatic vegetables and spices, perfect for hearty meals and versatile enough for various recipes.

Prepare the Beef:
Cut 3 kg beef (preferably a piece for slow cooking) into large chunks to fit into your pot.
Add Beef to Pot:
In a large pot, fill with enough water to cover the beef chunks.
Add the beef chunks to the pot.
Remove Foam:
Bring the pot to a boil.
Carefully remove the foam that rises to the top with a slotted spoon.
Prepare the Vegetables:
Peel 2 carrots, 2 celery sticks, and 1 onion.
Cut the carrots and celery into large pieces.
Halve the onion.
Add Vegetables and Spices:
Once the foam has been removed, add the prepared vegetables to the pot.
Add salt and a handful of black peppercorns.
Slow Cook the Beef:
Lower the heat to a simmer.
Cook the beef, fully covered, for 4 hours, or until very tender.
Serve:
Once done, the beef will be very tender.
You can serve it with some of the broth.
Alternatively, use the beef for further recipes like shredded beef or a stew.
