Bake the Gouda slices at 100 °C for about 10–15 minutes until the cheese melts and forms an even sheet.
Finely chop 3 hard-boiled eggs.
Cut ½ bunch of chives into fine rolls.
Mix the chopped eggs and chives with 250 g cream cheese and 1 tsp mustard.
Season the mixture with salt and pepper.
Once the Gouda sheet has cooled, spread the cream cheese and egg mixture evenly over it.
Roll up the long side of the sheet to form a firm roll.
Wrap the cheese roll in cling film and chill it.
Slice a fresh baguette.
Wash and clean the lettuce leaves.
Place one lettuce leaf on each baguette slice.
Slice the chilled cheese roll into pieces, about 1 cm thick.
Place the slices on the prepared baguette slices.
