Soak 100 g cashews in water for 2-3 hours or overnight to let them swell.
Peel 300 g potatoes, 2 carrots, and 1 onion and cut them into rough pieces.
Cook the veggies in plenty of boiling water for 15–20 minutes until tender.
Meanwhile, add 1 tbsp granulated vegetable broth to the cooking water.
Important: Don't discard the cooking water (about 200 ml)!
Cook the pasta of your choice according to package directions.
