These Buffalo Cauliflower Wings are now among my absolute favorite vegetarian recipes. Everyone knows the typical chicken wings, often served as finger food. I've conjured up a really delicious, meatless version where it's not about making cauliflower look like chicken – but rather about the fantastic barbecue flavor and a grand consistency!

Cut the cauliflower into small florets.
Prepare a bowl with beaten egg and another with flour. First, dip the cauliflower florets into the egg, then roll them in the flour until evenly coated.
Spread the breaded florets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Place them in the preheated oven (220 °C) and bake for 20 minutes.
Mix all ingredients for the marinade in a bowl.
Take the pre-baked cauliflower out of the oven and dip the florets into the marinade. If desired, also brush the stem of the cauliflower florets with the sauce – a brush helps with this.
Put the marinated cauliflower back into the oven for another 10 minutes until it's nicely infused and lightly browned.
Serve the finished cauliflower with herb quark or sour cream. Enjoy your meal!
